Transporting the Car So it begins...our newly purchased 1964 Corvette has just been loaded on the car carrier in New York as it starts its journey to Houston, Texas. The previous owner snapped this picture as it departed his home for the last time. This is a pivotal moment since I have been searching for a C2 Corvette for a good 6 months. After work this evening, I was telling Brandon (my 11 year old son) about the car while we were playing catch with a football. As we passed the ball back and forth, it occurred to me that we could do a blog on this car to capture our time and effort in bringing it back to life. He thought this was a good idea even after I informed him he would be writing some of the entries.
